In UI/UX, we're trying to teach the user how to use the product without words; we're trying to get the product to explain itself for the user. You can think of UI/UX as a teacher for the product. Sometimes people also have tutorial and guides to follow but they're not usually that effective (at least for me; I usually just want to jump in and use a product).
